Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a pre‐deal / merger environment , delivering complex IT infrastructure and tenant‐to‐tenant migration programmes . The role sits at the intersection of business readiness, technical delivery, and third‐party coordination, requiring strong stakeholder management and hands‐on project leadership.
This is a highly visible role within a fast‐paced transformation programme, based primarily on‐site in the City of London.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre‐deal and merger‐related IT infrastructure projects , ensuring operational readiness and delivery alignment
- Manage tenant‐to‐tenant migrations , including planning, dependency mapping, cutover governance and risk management
- Coordinate multiple third‐party vendors and systems integrators , holding them accountable to delivery milestones
- Own project plans, RAID logs, governance reporting, and senior stakeholder communications
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security and identity teams across both buyer and seller environments
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and regulatory/compliance requirements
- Support integration or separation activities across O365, Azure and core IT infrastructure
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering IT infrastructure programmes
- Strong background in M&A, pre‐deal, merger or separation projects
- Demonstrable experience managing tenant‐to‐tenant migrations (O365 and/or Azure environments)
- Extensive experience in third‐party management within complex enterprise programmes
- Comfortable operating in high‐pressure, ambiguous pre‐deal environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including C‐suite engagement
Nice to Have
- Understanding of O365, Azure, identity and cloud infrastructure concepts
- Experience working alongside architecture, security and networking teams
- Previous financial services, consultancy, or large enterprise environments
Contract Details
- 6 months initial term
- Outside IR35
- 3–4 days per week onsite in the City of London
- Competitive day rate (dependent on experience)
