Senior Data Analyst

Areti Group have partnered with a scaling Fintech who are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools to join their Technology team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the management, enrichment, and analysis of proprietary data, serving as a primary data support specialist across financial operations, customer service, and engineering teams.

• Hybrid London - 2 days per week
• Salary circa £70-90k
• ASAP start

Responsibilities:

• Creating a comprehensive data strategy
• Executing the strategy by developing analytical models, reports, and dashboards, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Establishing and documenting detailed data governance practices, procedures, and scalable solutions for a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME).
• Evaluating and validating data outputs while collaborating with developers to investigate, analyze, document, and resolve discrepancies.
• Partnering with engineers to establish best practices for data modeling, transformation, and visualization.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Profound knowledge of data analysis methodologies, including user analytics, system integration, and reporting automation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing analytical scripts and dashboards.
• Expertise in managing data validation frameworks, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
• Experience in a start-up environment, ideally financial sector
• Experience using Jira, Confluence and git
