Founder's Associate
Argus AI is an intelligence startup. We help governments, campaigns, institutions, and high-profile individuals understand what millions of people are thinking, feeling, and mobilising around in real time — before it shows up in polls, headlines, or unrest.
Our platform combines:
- Large-scale social media data ingestion
- Advanced sentiment and narrative analysis
- Early warnings for a variety of crisis scenarios
- Synthetic focus groups and demographic-level insight
This is not a dashboard business. We are building decision-grade intelligence for high-stakes environments.
The Role: We're looking for a Founder's Associate to work directly with the founder across every major function of the business. This is a generalist, high-trust role designed for someone who wants deep exposure to how a company is built from the ground up.
What You'll Do:
You'll be involved across all core areas of the company, including:
Growth & Marketing
- Help create and manage social media content (especially LinkedIn, X, short-form video)
- Assist with messaging, positioning, and marketing experiments
- Support outbound campaigns and partnerships
Sales & Business Development
- Help identify and research prospective clients
- Support outreach, follow-ups, and CRM organisation
- Sit in on sales calls and help refine pitch materials
Operations
- Assist with day-to-day operations, scheduling, and internal organisation
- Support basic accounting, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and external providers when needed
Fundraising & Strategy
- Assist with investor research and outreach
- Help prepare pitch decks, one-pagers, and financial materials
- Conduct market, competitor, and strategic research for founder decisions
What We're Looking For:
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial instincts and interest in startups, technology, or consulting
- Comfortable juggling multiple workstreams at once
- Willing to take ownership and figure things out independently
- Able to work in the Central London office at least 3 days per week
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience in startups, consulting, finance, marketing, or operations
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Excel/Google Sheets, CRM tools, or design software
- Interest in AI, data, politics, media, or technology businesses
Why This Role?
- Work directly with the founder on real decisions, not busywork
- Broad exposure across marketing, sales, ops, and fundraising
- Rapid learning curve and significant responsibility
- Opportunity to grow into a more senior role as the company scales
