Programme Delivery Lead
Technology is central to everything we do, and a key aspect is managing complex delivery programmes across the department to ensure we continue to provide value for the organisation and our customers. This role ensures alignment between roadmaps and execution, providing clear visibility of progress, managing dependencies and risks, and delivering programmes on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.You will also support the delivery teams with their continuous improvement activities by providing regular metrics and insights. Working as the Programme Delivery Lead, you will collaborate with all levels in the technology team, other senior leaders to bring cohesion, consistency and insight to how we work.What will you be doingProgramme Coordination & ReportingPartner with delivery teams to draft and own the end-to-end programme planCoordinate delivery across multiple teams, ensuring workstreams are alignedIdentify, track, and actively manage cross-team dependencies and integration pointsResolve blockers and ensure smooth collaboration across teams and stakeholdersDrive programme execution to ensure delivery on time and within scopePartner with delivery teams to contribute to delivery roadmapsEstablish a light governance framework to facilitate decision-making and clarityResolve blockers and ensure smooth collaboration across teams and stakeholdersProvide timely, structured reporting on progress, challenges, and trade-offs to project leads and stakeholdersDelivery Team ReportingPartner with Product and Engineering to identify useful delivery team metricsProvide clear monthly reporting on those delivery metrics to showcase delivery efficiencyManage our delivery metric tools e.g. AWS Quick suite, JIRA, PlandekRun monthly timesheet reporting in partnership with finance and delivery teamsTrack forecasted and actual capitalisation rates in partnership with FinanceProvide monthly roadmap updates with relevant change highlightedDeliver all reports in a timely manner to stakeholdersContinuous Improvement & Delivery ExcellenceDrive adoption of best practice delivery across programme deliveryProvide recommendations that will improve delivery e.g. cycle timeProactively embed AI, automation into operational processes to boost speed and qualityLead and mentor associate level roles, foster a culture collaboration, innovation, accountability and ownershipSkills and ExperienceProven experience leading programme deliveries with inter-dependenciesExperience creating and managing programme plans and governance structuresTrack record of delivering programmes within scope/time/resource constraintsDeep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid delivery methodologiesProven experience of project management toolsStrong capability in planning, prioritisation, and resource coordinationExperience tracking and improving delivery performance and execution qualityProactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive progressStrong inter-personal skills with technical / non-technical stakeholdersAbility to influence across teams without direct authorityExcellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilityHigh degree of organisation, structure, and attention to detailBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldWhat’s in it for youOur rapidly growing, award-winning business offers a dynamic environment for talented, entrepreneurial professionals to achieve results and grow their careers.
