£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

I am working alongside   a highly established full-service law firm, who have multiple offices around the UK. 

They are currently seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their IT infrastructure. 

This role involves ensuring systems and networks are secure, reliable, and optimised, while managing a small team of IT professionals and supporting ongoing innovation projects.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure

· Manage IT operations staff, performance, and development

· Ensure system reliability, backups, and cybersecurity compliance

· Lead IT projects, ensuring deadlines and service levels are met

· Support audits and accreditations including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus

· Collaborate with innovation and digital adoption teams on technology initiatives

· Manage IT vendors, contracts, and software licenses

· Prepare management reports on operational performance

Requirements:

· Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS, SQL Server, and Active Directory

· Experience in infrastructure planning, server virtualisation, and cloud services

· Familiarity with backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery processes

· Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and IT project management

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
