Ark Recruitment are partnering with a well-established events and media business that delivers high-profile exhibitions and conferences, primarily within the technology sector. With a strong existing client base and a proven live events portfolio, the business is now investing in digital growth, creating new commercial opportunities beyond the show floor.

This is a brand-new role, offering genuine autonomy and the opportunity to develop a new digital revenue stream across a selection of established events.

The Role

As Digital Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of identifying, shaping, and selling digital solutions to an existing portfolio of high-value clients. Working exclusively with warm, engaged customers, your focus will be on uncovering growth opportunities and upselling digital packages that enhance client ROI before, during, and after events.

This role suits a commercially minded partnerships or digital sales professional who enjoys consultative selling, solution design, and building long-term value, rather than high-volume cold outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify upsell and growth opportunities across a portfolio of high-spending event partners.
  • Sell digital packages including online exposure, lead generation tools, content, data, and digital activations.
  • Work consultatively with clients to understand objectives and present tailored digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, content, and product teams to shape new digital offerings.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with key accounts.
  • Attend events regularly to engage clients face-to-face and identify new opportunities.
  • Track pipeline, performance, and revenue growth through CRM systems.
  • Contribute to the development of a scalable digital sales strategy across the wider events portfolio.

About You

We’re looking for a confident, commercially driven professional who’s excited by the opportunity to build something new. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in digital solutions sales and partnerships
  • Strong understanding of digital products such as content solutions, lead generation, data and digital advertising.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts rather than cold-start sales.
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities and articulate value clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to shape a new role.
  • Comfort working across live events, digital platforms, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working to targets of £500k + per annum, and proven experience overachieving

Bonus:

  • Experience selling digital solutions within events, media, or technology environments.
  • Familiarity with sponsorship, digital marketing, or event technology platforms.
