RIS Application Specialist - 6 Months

Fully remote - Outside IR35

A well-established healthcare provider is seeking a RIS Application Specialist to support the implementation, optimisation and training of RIS solutions.

You’ll work closely with radiology departments, operational stakeholders and technical teams to translate clinical workflows into effective system configurations, ensuring the solution supports both efficiency and patient care outcomes.

You’ll be involved throughout the full implementation lifecycle — from requirements gathering and workflow mapping through to configuration, testing, go-live and post-deployment support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading RIS configuration and deployment activities
  • Mapping radiology workflows and aligning system functionality to clinical requirements
  • Delivering structured training to radiology teams, super users and system administrators
  • Supporting UAT, go-live planning and post-implementation optimisation
  • Producing clear training materials, user guides and supporting documentation
  • Acting as a trusted application SME
  • Translating system updates and enhancements into practical operational guidance

Experience required:

  • Strong experience working with RIS solutions in a healthcare environment
  • Understanding of radiology workflows and operational processes
  • Experience delivering application training and user support
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills across clinical and non-clinical teams
