Junior Business Analyst

Junior BI Analyst — Contract | Hybrid | £250pd

We're looking for a junior analyst with around 1–2 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis, covering an existing team member.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role — great for someone who wants to get stuck in, learn fast, and build real experience across reporting, data and MI.

What you'll be doing

You'll be supporting the day-to-day running of our reporting and data function, working closely with more senior team members to keep things running smoothly.

That includes:

• Helping to produce and validate our monthly performance reporting pack

• Supporting forecasting cycles — tracking assumptions and keeping outputs up to date

• Maintaining dashboards and datasets, and flagging issues quickly when they arise

• Assisting with stakeholder MI and keeping documentation and runbooks current

• Picking up ad hoc data tasks and contributing to process improvements where you spot them What we're looking for

• 1–2 years of experience in a data, reporting or analyst role

• Solid Excel skills — comfortable with formulas, data validation and building structured outputs

• Some exposure to monthly reporting or MI pack processes (even if you weren't leading them)

• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking your own work

• Good communication skills — able to work with colleagues across teams and ask the right questions

Bonus points for

• Power BI or Tableau experience (any level)

• SQL basics (SQL Server / SSMS)

• Familiarity with Power Automate or SharePoint Lists

• Exposure to SAP, Ariba or BusinessObjects
