Research Engineer

AI Research Engineers | Frontier AI Lab

I am partnering with a high-growth Frontier AI Lab, developing an open-source platform to unify structured and unstructured data into advanced knowledge graphs.

The company is now expanding its research team and seeking exceptional AI Research Engineers to contribute to its next phase of growth. This is not a role focused solely on applying existing models.

Responsibility:

• Designing and developing novel model architectures in-house

• Post-training and adapting state-of-the-art open-source foundation models

• Owning projects end-to-end, from initial research through to production

Experience:

• Strong ML research track record (publications, open source, or equivalent)

• Deep expertise in modern architectures: transformers, diffusion, multimodal, generative

• Experience training and adapting large-scale models

• Strong programming skills (Python and or Rust)

• Able to translate research into production systems

Key responsibilities:

• Research and develop novel model architectures for reasoning and representation learning

• Post-train and adapt foundation models for real-world applications

• Design, execute, and analyse experiments across training, evaluation, and scaling

• Collaborate across data, systems, and product to deliver deployed capabilities

• Contribute to technical strategy, research direction, and long-term roadmap
