Staff Software Engineer – Scale-Up Environment - £120,000 + Bonus & Benefits | Hybrid - 2 Days/Week in Central London

A fast-growing scale-up is overhauling its platform and hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead major parts of that transformation. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll shape architecture, mentor engineers, and improve performance, reliability, and scalability across cloud-native systems.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own and evolve backend systems in .NET Core / C#
• Lead on platform performance, automation, observability, and CI/CD
• Build infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Terraform and Docker
• Help introduce Go and Python into the stack
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices
