A globally recognised insurance marketplace is seeking a Domain Enterprise Architect to provide architectural leadership across one of its core business domains.
This is a high-impact role operating at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution — ensuring domain priorities are translated into coherent architecture, clear roadmaps, and scalable solutions.
The Role
As Domain Enterprise Architect, you will act as the strategic architecture lead for your domain, aligning business strategy with technology direction.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and the wider Enterprise Architecture function to ensure the domain’s application landscape, capabilities, and transformation initiatives are strategically aligned and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and socialise 1-, 3-, and 5-year domain architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Align domain strategy with enterprise architecture principles and governance.
- Support major programmes and projects, providing architectural oversight and guidance.
- Drive application lifecycle management, rationalisation, and reduction of technical debt.
- Ensure architectural decisions are scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant.
- Collaborate with fellow Enterprise Architects to ensure enterprise-wide cohesion.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive Enterprise Architecture experience in complex, high-change environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
- Deep knowledge of architecture frameworks, governance models, and integration patterns.
- Experience within financial services or insurance environments is highly desirable.
- Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Finance, Risk, Legal & HR
- Markets, Commercial & Global
- Operations (InfoSec, Risk & Resilience, IT Ops, Data & AI)
