IT Finance Analyst

IT Finance Analyst - 12 month FTC

London (Hybrid) | £75,000–£80,000

Arthur Financial have partnered with a leading global insurance firm, who are looking to hire an IT Finance Analyst to support a busy and evolving IT finance function.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with the numbers, taking ownership of forecasting and reporting processes, while also looking for ways to improve and evolve how things are done.

The Role

• Own and support forecasting, budgeting and planning cycles across IT spend
• Deliver accurate and insightful reporting and analysis
• Work at a detailed level to understand and control actuals (costs, FTE, etc.)
• Partner with stakeholders across IT and finance to provide commercial insight
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and data quality
• Support the ongoing development and embedding of forecasting and reporting models

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience across forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
• Comfortable working at a granular / transactional level
• Proven ability to own BAU processes end-to-end
• Experience supporting or implementing process improvements or system changes
• Proactive, curious and motivated with a “roll sleeves up” mindset
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Experience with tools such as TM1, Anaplan, Hyperion or similar would be beneficial
