Project Manager
An opportunity to join a growing Change and Enablement Function and deliver exciting IT and Change projects across core insurance functions (Underwriting, claims, actuarial, broking, etc) business operations, and finance.
This is a hands-on role in a small, high-performing team, providing structure, discipline, and delivery expertise while helping shape how projects are run across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Programme Management, in a fast-paced, flat organisation with global offices. This is a high-visibility role, offering opportunities to grow, learn from experienced colleagues, and influence the way projects are delivered across the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Implement consistent project practices, documentation, and reporting in a maturing function.
- Maintain project artefacts, RAID logs, trackers, and executive-level reporting for stakeholders.
- Track budgets, support forecasting, and assist with vendor or procurement processes.
- Work closely with insurance, finance, IT, regulatory, and compliance teams to capture business requirements and shape solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Support business change initiatives by embedding processes and driving sustainable adoption.
- Drive consistency and governance where project discipline is still developing.
Projects you’ll work on include:
- Finance system implementations
- Business process transformation initiatives across insurance, finance, or operations
- Regulatory and compliance projects aligned with Lloyd’s of London, PRA, or FCA requirements
- Opening new offices globally, including operational playbooks, process documentation, and training programs.
What we're looking for:
- 5–7 years’ experience delivering end-to-end projects, ideally in insurance; experience with Lloyd’s of London Market highly advantageous
- Strong project management capability (IT and Change), including planning, tracking, and delivering multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable helping shape processes while delivering tangible results
- Confident stakeholder management with experience engaging senior leaders
- Experience across core insurance functions (underwriting, broking, claims), finance, IT, and regulatory teams
- Exposure to finance systems, insurance technology, or cross-functional change projects
