I’m currently partnering with a client to find an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a strategic transformation roadmap across business and technology.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure, governance, and clarity to complex change initiatives within a regulated environment.

🌟 The Role

You’ll sit within a central Programmes & Enablement function, acting as the backbone for project governance, delivery, and change management across a portfolio of strategic initiatives.

The role operates at the intersection of Technology, Finance, and Insurance, requiring someone who can confidently navigate both technical and business landscapes.

đź”§ Key Responsibilities

Project Governance & Delivery

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Own high-quality project documentation (plans, RAID logs, budgets)
  • Produce clear, concise reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums
  • Track budgets, forecasts, and support vendor management processes

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead impact assessments and support the people side of change
  • Deliver structured communication to drive engagement and adoption
  • Act as a key bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Coordinate UAT and training to ensure successful implementation

Business & Finance Integration

  • Work closely with Finance, Underwriting, Claims, and Actuarial teams
  • Map current and future-state processes (“As-Is” / “To-Be”)
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Support operational risk management across project delivery

đź§  Experience Required

Essential:

  • 5+ years’ Project Management experience in a corporate or regulated environment
  • Strong project governance and lifecycle management expertise
  • Proven change management experience (Prosci/ADKAR highly beneficial)
  • Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels

Desirable:

  • Insurance / London Market / Lloyd’s experience
  • Exposure to finance systems change or business transformation initiatives
  • PRINCE2, APMG or similar certification
