Finance Analyst - Data Analytics - Programming

Arthur are supporting a UK Insurer looking to hire a highly Analytical Finance Analyst who is able to to code, using either R & Python. The role will support the broad Finance Operations of the organisation, involved in multiple improvement & documentation projects.Main Responsibilities include, assisting the team with:•Maintaining/monitoring the regular financial processes• Monthly management account pack production, to support business decisions• Statutory reporting, including managing the external audit process• Regulatory and branch reporting (including Solvency II)• Preparation and submission of tax returns• Ad hoc projects as requiredSkills required:• Education or Work Experience within Financial Services / Insurance and/or Accounting & Finance• Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills, with experience in Coding through R & Python• Strong IT skills, with good programming skills or a keen interest in developing such skills• Ability to develop good working relationships across all levels of seniority• Strong presentation skills - both written & oral
