Salary: £30,000–£35,000 | Location: Cardiff | Working Pattern: 5 days onsite

A growing, professional services organisation in Cardiff is seeking a motivated Applications Developer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of internal systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain internal applications and systems.
  • Build workflows, forms, reports, scripts, APIs, and integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and contribute innovative solutions.
  • Test, deploy, and document system updates, enhancements, and new features.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on projects and integrations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel.
  • Willingness to learn CMS platforms, SQL, Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Flask.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with first or second-line technical support preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Office, Office 365, and relational databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
