Business Process Analyst

Business Process Analyst required by a market leading, UK based organisation on a fully remote basis.

An established UK organisation is currently undergoing a large-scale operational transformation programme focused on improving efficiency, consistency and future-readiness across its services. As part of this journey, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Analyst / Process Improvement Specialist to support process optimisation initiatives across multiple business functions.

This is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to play a key role in shaping operational improvements and supporting long-term digital and AI readiness strategies.

The Role

Working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will be responsible for analysing current working practices, mapping end-to-end processes and helping define improved future-state operations.

The position will focus on creating clear, scalable and efficient processes that support organisational growth, improved reporting and stronger operational performance.

This role is centred around business process analysis and improvement rather than software implementation or systems selection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map and document existing operational processes (“as is”)
  • Design and recommend improved future-state workflows
  • Identify inefficiencies, duplication, risks and compliance gaps
  • Support process standardisation across multiple teams/sites
  • Contribute to improved data quality and reporting alignment
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Support organisational readiness for automation and emerging technologies
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst or Process Improvement role
  • Proven track record of process mapping and operational optimisation
  • Experience working across multi-site or complex organisations
  • Strong knowledge of BPMN, Lean methodologies or similar frameworks
  • Confident stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Understanding of data flows, reporting and operational dependencies
  • Structured and analytical approach to change and improvement
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent experience desirable
