On behalf of Arup, we are looking for an Internal Communications and Change Support professional for an 18-month contract supporting the Oracle Fusion (People Services) programme. This role can be based in any UK hub with flexibility to work remotely and occasional travel to London or Manchester (typically once per month).

Purpose of the role

This role sits within Arup's People Services Transformation team and supports the delivery of change and communications activity for the Oracle Cloud HCM (Fusion) programme. The programme represents a significant shift in how People Services operates, including the introduction of enhanced self-service and new ways of working.

You will support the design and delivery of engaging communications and change activity to ensure colleagues understand, adopt and gain value from the new system and processes. The role works closely with the Change & Engagement Lead and wider programme team to drive awareness, readiness and engagement across the organisation.

What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of change and communications activity across the Oracle Fusion (People Services) programme.
  • Produce high-quality communication materials including newsletters, briefings, FAQs, presentations and intranet content.
  • Translate complex HR system changes into clear, accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Contribute to creative engagement approaches including bite-sized learning content and multimedia communications.
  • Support readiness and stakeholder engagement activity across People Services and the wider organisation.
  • Coordinate communication schedules and ensure alignment across change, training and programme teams.
  • Gather feedback and engagement insights to support continuous improvement of messaging and adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support them through periods of change.

The Skill you'll need

  • Experience supporting change and communications within transformation or system implementation programmes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Experience working within HR, People Services or shared services environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to build relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced programme environment.
  • Experience creating digital or multimedia content is beneficial.
  • A people-focused approach with strong empathy and awareness of user experience impact.
