Java Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to Work with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog /requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria. Guide the team on work breakdown and execution.

Full-time role with Ascendion

Hybrid role - 3 days Chester - WFO

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and enterprise application development.
• Deep expertise in JEE / Spring Framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and RESTful services.
• Proven experience with test automation, including JUnit and mocking frameworks (Mockito / JMock).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, XLR, and Ansible.
• Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum environments, actively contributing to sprint ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
