OCR Project Manager SAP S/4HANA & Ariba - Inside IR35 - £82 per hour - SE London

A government body is seeking an experienced OCR Project Manager  (SAP S/4HANA & Ariba) to lead the transition of all existing invoice and document-processing activities into our new SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba landscape . The role will involve controlling the migration from legacy systems, robust integration, and the realisation of efficiency and control improvements across finance, procurement, accounts payable and wider service areas .

Duties will include project delivery, functional & technical scope (OCR / S/4 / Ariba), legacy transition & decommissioning, stakeholder & vendor management, data controls & compliance, as well as change management & training.

Based in the Southwark area, South East London – minimum of 2 days per week in the office. This is a contract role for initially 12 weeks (36 hours per week) from approximately 2 nd March and paying £82.09 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £58.92 per hour). The closing date is Friday, 13th December.

To be suitable for this role, you must have strong project management experience delivering technology-enabled change in a public sector or similarly complex environment . Experience of  leading OCR, document imaging, or invoice automation projects, ideally integrated with ERP or S2P platforms as well as large-scale ERP or procurement transformation programmes is also required.  You will also need a s trong track record in managing cross-functional teams and suppliers, with responsibility for budget, timeline, scope and quality as well as e xperience of process redesign in Accounts Payable, Procurement or Finance Shared Services, including automation and workflow. Familiarity  with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Ariba (invoicing/Procure-to-Pay), or other major ERP/S2P platforms  is advantageous, but not essential.
