IT Project Manager - Banking

- Initial 1 year fixed-term role

- London foreign national bank 

- Salary up to £90,000 plus benefits

- Hybrid working (3 days a week in Central London office and 2 from home)

A reputable global bank is looking for an IT Project Manager on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable organisation going through IT transformation and change across its core banking systems.

The successful individiual will be responsible for;

- Core banking system upgrate and integration (including contrracts and licences) and retiring of current system

- Updating and upgrading bank treasury system 

- Upgrades to DR/disaster recovery

- Data migrations and automation

- Upgrade to IT comms room 

- Working with both internal and external stakeholders including overseas head office 

- Risk management 

To be considered suitable you will need to have a strong background in project management along with the following;

- Solid experience in IT transformation projects

- Experience with banking system upgrades/integrations 

- Solid understanding of system automation, upgrades, data migrations, governance and data & cyber security

- Understanding of  ISO20022
