Our client is a fast-growing technology business delivering cybersecurity, networking and voice solutions to ambitious mid-market organisations looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of customer and internal projects across their Professional Services portfolio.
This is a highly autonomous, client-facing role where you'll manage projects from initial handover through to successful completion and transition into support. Working closely with customers, technical teams and senior leadership, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.You'll also contribute to improving delivery processes and shaping the future of the Professional Services function.
Key Responsibilities of this PM role include:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of customer and internal technology projects.
Manage projects from sales handover through to transition into operational support.
Deliver projects within agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality standards.
Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and third-party partners.
Maintain effective project governance through planning, reporting and documentation.
Work alongside technical teams to ensure solutions are reviewed, approved and delivered successfully.
Oversee seamless project handovers into business-as-usual support.
Act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels.
Provide regular project updates and communicate risks proactively.
Deliver an excellent customer experience that supports long-term partnerships.
Manage customer expectations and drive timely project completion.
Manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
Control project scope through formal change management processes.
Balance commercial considerations including time, cost and customer experience.
Forecast project effort accurately and communicate potential overruns early.
Escalate issues where appropriate to ensure successful delivery.
Monitor project profitability, work in progress (WIP) and financial performance.
Ensure projects are closed promptly to support timely billing.
Work closely with Finance to maintain accurate project reporting.
Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to identify opportunities for additional services.
Support smooth project mobilisation while protecting project margins.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Help develop documentation, workflows, handovers and service standards.
Support the effective use and ongoing improvement of project delivery systems and tools.

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience delivering end-to-end IT or technology projects.
Strong experience managing the full project lifecycle from initiation through deployment and transition into support.
Solid understanding of project planning, governance, budgeting and reporting.
Experience managing project scope, risks, issues and dependencies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working within IT or managed service environments.
PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification.
