Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer - MSP
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer/Technical Consultant to join a well-established and growing MSP in the Hertfordshire/North London area. This role pays between £60,000 - £75,000 and will be split between customer sites across Greater London & the business office in the Waltham Cross area.
To be considered for this position, you MUST have previous experience working for MSP's within a customer-focused role.
This position will cover the complete IT infrastructure and centre around rollout, migration, upgrade & deployment projects. As an experienced IT Consultant, you will provide complete project life cycle consultancy covering pre-sales, scope of work, proof of concept, customer onboarding, customer auditing, technical designs, project delivery, documentation & post-project support.
As an experienced IT Technical Consultant, you will have a wide-ranging background with:
- Azure AD/Entra ID
- Windows Server, VMWare &/or HyperV
- MS Azure & Office 365 (inc. Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams & OneDrive)
- Purview and Intune
- Sophos security suite
- Various networking Switches, Routers & Firewalls
Further experience with ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials frameworks would also be highly beneficial, as would any Apple Mac OS experience.
My client is a small but well-established and growing MSP with an emphasis on customer service & customer satisfaction. In addition to a salary of up to £75,000, they will provide formal MS training courses & exams to help you become certified and progress your career. Working as an IT Consultant/Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer for various customers, you will predominantly cover the Greater London area and have mileage & travel expenses paid.
As you will be spending several days each week at customer sites, it is essential that you have a full & clean driver's licence and your own car. When not at customer sites you will be at the Waltham Cross HQ with the rest of the IT team & wider company.
