M365 Engineer
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and proactive M365 Engineer to join our team, focusing on BAU (Business as Usual) operations. This role resides in the Digital Workplace Team, which is part of IT User Experience, and the team is responsible for the administration, configuration, optimisation, and support of Microsoft 365 services, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
This role ensures the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of collaboration and productivity services across the organisation, following best practice governance and compliance standards. The engineer will work closely with security, infrastructure, governance, and support teams to deliver a high-quality user experience and drive adoption of M365 capabilities.
This role is critical in enabling strategic projects by handling day-to-day support, escalations, and product management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our M365 environment and should have a broad understanding of all technologies under the team's remit, including Microsoft 365, Office Product Suite and related applications.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office with hybrid working.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience with managing Microsoft 365 administration and governance of cloud services such as Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, Power Platform and associated technologies.
- Minimum 5 years' experience supporting M365 products and services in an enterprise environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and meeting SLA requirements.
- Familiarity with Purview, Defender and the Office 365 Suite (desired).
