Location: Westminster - 1 day per week from home - 4 days in the office
Contract Duration : 7 Months
Daily Rate: £574/day (Umbrella)

Essential:
- Extensive experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments within medium to large enterprise organisations.
- Practical experience supporting, configuring, and administering Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong PowerShell Scripting and automation capabilities.
- Experience administering and supporting Microsoft Power Platform services.
- Demonstrable experience configuring, operating, and optimising Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity services.
Desirable:
- Experience working with Microsoft Copilot adoption, governance, and optimisation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 roadmap, emerging features, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyses, designs and configures new collaboration solutions, using the most appropriate collaboration product(s) to meet user's needs, following the appropriate governance processes.
- 3rd line support for collaboration tools. Receives and logs requests for support from service desk, other service delivery staff and/or users. Prioritises requests in accordance with agreed criteria and promptly allocates unresolved calls as appropriate.
- Investigates and resolves requests for support by means of, for example: making global platform configuration modifications, developing work-around enhancements, changing operating procedures, providing guidance through explanation and documentation, or escalating requests to other Platforms colleagues or external suppliers.
- Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures; and ensures that documentation is available and accessible to all who need to use it.
- Provides excellent customer service by monitoring the progress of requests for support, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and that customer expectations are managed.
- Assists the Productivity and Collaboration Team to seek continual improvement in how Parliament uses the Microsoft 365 collaboration suite of products and keeps up to date on the Microsoft 365 roadmap to understand all new features and functionality being made available.
- Line management of any analysts as necessary.
This role is a blend of Microsoft 365 platform administration, product ownership, 3rd line support, stakeholder engagement, governance and solution design. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving collaboration services, supporting business users, and driving adoption of Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform capabilities.
The position is ideal for a hands-on M365 professional with strong platform administration experience across SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft 365 Groups and Power Platform.
As a Microsoft M365 and Copilot Specialist, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Administer, configure and support the Microsoft 365 collaboration suite, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Viva Engage, Stream and Microsoft 365 Groups.
- Support and optimise Microsoft Copilot capabilities, ensuring users gain maximum value from AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Provide 3rd line technical support, troubleshooting and resolving complex platform, configuration and user issues.
- Analyse requirements and design collaboration solutions aligned with business needs and governance standards.
- Manage platform provisioning, configuration, permissions and operational activities across the Microsoft 365 estate.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administration, reporting and support processes.
- Support governance, compliance and best practice implementation across Microsoft 365 services.
- Administer and support Power Platform solutions and services.
- Work closely with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
- Keep up to date with the Microsoft 365 roadmap and evaluate new features for business adoption.
- Provide support, guidance and knowledge sharing to colleagues and team members where required
