A global market intelligence and SaaS business is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across the EMEA region, selling subscription platforms, research reports, data products, and consultancy services to senior commercial and technical decision-makers.
The business provides market intelligence, analyst-led research, consultancy and subscription insight services supporting organisations operating within advanced technology, manufacturing, R&D and innovation-led markets. Clients range from emerging businesses through to major international organisations.
With an established reputation and growing international presence, the company is continuing to invest in its commercial capability and recurring revenue growth strategy.
Job Overview
- This is a full-cycle Business Development Manager position focused predominantly on new business acquisition across EMEA markets.
- The role will suit a commercially driven and consultative salesperson who is comfortable owning the entire sales process, from identifying opportunities and opening doors through to negotiation, closing and account growth.
- You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, engaging senior stakeholders and developing relationships with decision-makers across global organisations.
- Success will be measured through new logo acquisition, recurring revenue growth, pipeline development, and long-term client value.
- Drive new business growth across EMEA through proactive prospecting and relationship development
- Own the full sales cycle from opportunity generation through to negotiation and close
- Sell market intelligence, subscription and consultancy solutions to senior decision-makers
- Build and convert pipeline through outbound activity, networking, events and referrals
- Deliver consultative sales discussions and develop relationships with senior stakeholders
- Attend client meetings and industry events across international markets
- Maintain CRM accuracy, forecasting and cross-functional collaboration
Person Specification
- Proven full-cycle B2B sales experience with a strong new business focus
- Background selling SaaS, subscriptions, market intelligence, consultancy, media or similar solution-led services
- Track record of independently generating pipeline and managing multiple opportunities
- Confident engaging Director and C-level stakeholders within consultative sales environments
- Professional, commercially credible and comfortable operating autonomously
- Stable career history with evidence of progression preferred
- Willing to travel internationally across EMEA
