Job Title: ICT TeacherLocation: Secondary Schools (KSG 3-4)Start Date: January 2025Salary: £90 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and skills)Contract: Full-time, 5 days a weekJob Overview:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching ICT to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, inspiring them to develop their technical and problem-solving skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to make a positive impact on students' learning and contribute to their academic development.Key Responsibilities:Delivering high-quality ICT lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, ensuring they meet the national curriculum requirements.Planning and preparing engaging lessons that foster student development in both practical and theoretical ICT skills.Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.Promoting a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall ICT curriculum and share best teaching practices.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technological trends and incorporating them into lesson plans where appropriate.Qualifications & Skills:A relevant degree in ICT, Computing, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred, but not essential).Proven experience teaching ICT to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.Strong understanding of the ICT curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver lessons effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and manage classroom dynamics.Passion for education and a commitment to supporting student achievement.What We Offer:Competitive daily pay rate (£90 - £200), dependent on experience and qualifications.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive school environment.Professional development and opportunities for career progression.A welcoming, friendly team of educators who value collaboration and teamwork.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
