Project Manager

CRM Implementation Project Manager - 9 month FTC - £55K-£65K pro rata - Hybrid London - **Third Sector Essential**

The role:

We're looking for a CRM Implementation Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new fundraising CRM platform, from planning through to go-live and adoption. This is a hands-on delivery role: you'll own the project plan, manage stakeholders across fundraising, data, IT and finance, and make sure the system actually gets used once it's live.

You'll need to have done this before, ideally more than once, in a charity or NFP setting where fundraising data and donor relationships sit at the centre of the business case.

What you'll be doing:

Owning end-to-end delivery of a CRM implementation: scoping, vendor/implementation partner management, migration planning, testing, training and go-live

Managing the project plan, budget and risk log, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders and any programme board

Working closely with fundraising, supporter care, finance and data teams to translate operational needs into system requirements

Leading data migration planning from the legacy system (e.g. Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Dynamics, ThankQ or similar) into the new platform, working with data leads on cleansing and mapping

Coordinating UAT and managing the implementation partner or vendor relationship day to day

Building the training and change management plan so staff actually adopt the new system, not just tolerate it

Identifying and managing risks, dependencies and scope creep before they become problems

Post go-live: managing hypercare, resolving issues and handing over cleanly to BAU support

What you'll need:

Proven track record delivering CRM implementations, ideally fundraising or donor CRM (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce NPSP, Microsoft Dynamics, ThankQ, Beacon or similar)

**Third sector experience is essential** You need to understand how fundraising teams work, what a donor journey looks like, and why data quality matters to income generation, not just IT hygiene

Solid project management fundamentals: planning, budgeting, RAID logs, governance and reporting, whether that's PRINCE2, Agile or just knowing how to run a project properly

Experience managing external vendors or implementation partners, and holding them to account

Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and translating between technical delivery teams and non-technical fundraising staff

Data migration experience, understanding of GDPR as it applies to donor and supporter data

Strong communication skills; able to keep a steady hand on a project that touches most of the organisation
