E-Commerce Executive

We're Hiring – E-Commerce Executive | Stockport

We're looking for an E-Commerce Executive to join the team at Asset Technology and help grow our online retail operations across platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Shopify and Back Market.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in online marketplaces, product listings, customer service and digital retail who wants to develop their career in e-commerce and technology resale.

You'll be involved in:

✔ Managing marketplace product listings

✔ Optimising online sales performance

✔ Supporting customer enquiries and order management

✔ Identifying products to sell across our platforms

✔ Helping grow our online retail presence

A strong interest or knowledge in IT / technology would be a big advantage.

About the Role

Asset Technology is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Executive to support and grow our online retail and marketplace sales operations.

This role will focus on managing product listings, optimising online sales performance, improving conversion rates and delivering an excellent customer experience across multiple digital sales channels.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces, ensuring products are accurately listed, orders are processed efficiently and opportunities to grow online revenue are identified.

Our E-Commerce Retail Platforms

Our e-commerce retail department operates across a number of platforms including:

• eBay

• Amazon

• Shopify

• Back Market

• OnBuy

• TikTok

• Social Media Marketplaces

• Other online sales platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise product listings across all e-commerce platforms, ensuring product titles, descriptions, pricing and images are accurate and optimised for search visibility and sales performance

• Monitor online sales data, platform analytics and marketplace performance to identify trends and opportunities to improve conversion rates and revenue

• Assist with inventory management and stock control, ensuring product availability across multiple platforms

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, chat or social media regarding products, orders, shipping and returns

• Support order management and fulfilment, including order tracking, cancellations and modifications

• Resolve customer issues efficiently, working with warehouse, logistics and internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience

• Maintain strong product knowledge to provide accurate information and recommendations

• Provide support for customers experiencing issues with online ordering, payments or marketplace platforms

• Capture and analyse customer feedback and product reviews to identify improvements

• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to increase order value

• Ensure compliance with company policies, e-commerce best practices, data protection and marketplace policies

• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and order records

• Contribute to continuous improvement of product listings, online sales performance and marketplace operations

• Assist in identifying high-demand or profitable IT products suitable for sale across our online marketplaces

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Back Market or Shopify

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Good understanding of online retail operations, product listings and marketplace management

• Ability to analyse sales performance data and identify growth opportunities

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple platforms and priorities

• A strong understanding or knowledge of IT / technology would be highly beneficial
