Senior Accounting Analyst

Role: Senior Analyst – Accounting & Reporting

Role Type: Temporary – 6 Months

Location: Luton - Hybrid Model: 3 days per week from office

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the deployment of our str ategic business improvements through the Axial Programme and S/4HANA. You will act as a central point for transitioning from ECC to S/4 with regards to accounting & reporting.

Typical Accountabilities:

• Acts as a source of knowledge in one or more areas of Finance as we transition between design & deployment
• Prioritises business improvement issues and delivers own business improvement findings and recommendations to a cross-functional team, specifically covering the creation of the finance, accounting and reporting process
• Working with the Axial solution for general accounting and reporting to exploit standard SAP S/4 HANA functionality
• Collaborate with the data team as we transition from one data model to another
• Enables cross-functional sharing of business improvement ideas
• Co-ordinates the development and presentation of best options for transitioning between systems e
• Keeps own knowledge of best practices on business information and intelligence
• Review of documentation from other areas of AXIAL where they relate to this process e.g. testing, training, deployment and process adoption

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Strong Accountancy experience qual / part qual ACCA or CIMA
• Experience in SAP transitioning to S/4HANA
• Previous experience within a global finance department (General accounting and reporting) in a multi- national organisation
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

Desirable:

• Advanced degree within field
• Project management experience
