What You’ll Be Doing

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and architecture. You’ll:

• Build reliable, high-performance systems that scale as the platform grows
• Work end-to-end across backend services (Python) and frontend applications (TypeScript/React)
• Operate in a DevOps-minded environment where engineers own the lifecycle from design to production
• Contribute to shaping technical direction and evaluating new approaches
• Mentor teammates and help raise engineering standards across the organisation
• Champion pragmatic decision-making that balances simplicity, quality, and long-term value
• Consider how engineering choices influence customers, product behaviour, and operational success
• Take advantage of modern tooling — including AI — to accelerate development and improve outcomes

Tech You’ll Work With

Backend: Python, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MySQL

Frontend: TypeScript, React, styled-components

Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, pytest

Cloud & DevOps: AWS, GCP, ECS Fargate, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions
