👋 The Role

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale, production-grade backend systems.
• Own core Python services and distributed systems end-to-end.
• Drive architectural decisions across data, API, and platform layers.
• Work within a DevOps culture — you build it, you run it .
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to solve real user problems.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement across squads.
• Balance engineering rigour with pragmatic, simple solutions.
• Make use of modern tooling — including Generative AI — to accelerate delivery and decision-making.
