Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including lifecycle management, architecture, and platform setup.
  • Develop and maintain Kubernetes operators; ensure platform security and compliance.
  • Build, optimize, and troubleshoot DevOps pipelines using GitLab and GitOps methodologies (Flux, Ethos).
  • Write infrastructure as code for Azure environments; automate deployments and manage cloud resources.
  • Develop scripts and tools in Golang and other relevant languages for automation and platform enhancement.
  • Collaborate with SRE teams to debug applications, monitor system health, and ensure reliability.
  • Onboard new applications to the platform, including understanding and deploying Helm charts and related manifests.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD processes and improve developer experience.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (architecture, lifecycle, security, operator development).
  • Strong Azure cloud expertise (AKS, networking, identity, resource management).
  • Proficient in Python or Golang and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with GitLab, Flux, GitOps, and Ethos.
  • Solid understanding of SRE practices, application debugging, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with onboarding applications, Helm charts, and Kubernetes manifests.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of container security, RBAC, and policy management.
