Role OverviewThe Lead will own the overall Pega solution architecture, translate complex business and technicalrequirements into scalable designs, and provide hands-on technical leadership to Pega developmentteams.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to ensure solutions meetarchitectural, security, performance, integration and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end architecture and technical design of Pega applications.
  • Lead solution design across case management, workflows, data models, integrations,security and user experience.
  • Define application architecture, reusable components, enterprise design patterns andimplementation standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to Pega Senior System Architects, System Architects anddevelopment teams.
  • Review solution designs and implementation approaches to ensure compliance with Pegaguardrails and engineering best practices.
  • Lead complex technical design decisions and resolve architecture and performancechallenges.
  • Design scalable integration patterns using REST APIs, services, connectors, data pages,messaging and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Define appropriate authentication, authorization, access control and security architecture.
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including performance, scalability,availability, resilience, security and maintainability.
  • Establish appropriate application monitoring, performance optimisation and troubleshootingapproaches.
  • Define DevOps, CI/CD, branching, deployment and release-management approaches forPega applications.
  • Support production readiness, deployment planning and technical assurance activities.
  • Work closely with Business Architects, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, SecurityArchitects and Integration Architects.
  • Translate business requirements into appropriate Pega architecture and technical solutions.
  • Lead technical workshops and communicate architecture decisions clearly to both technicaland non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor Pega engineers and support the development of engineering capability acrossdelivery teams.
  • Perform design and code reviews and ensure technical debt is identified and appropriatelymanaged.
  • Support estimation, delivery planning, technical risk management and dependencymanagement.
  • Act as the Pega technical authority and escalation point throughout the delivery lifecycle. Required Skills and

Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise applications using PegaPlatform.
  • Strong experience working as a Pega Lead System Architect or Solution Architect onlarge and complex programmes.
  • Deep knowledge of Pega case management, application architecture, data modelling andintegration.
  • Strong understanding of Pega application design principles, guardrails and reusablearchitecture.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, integration services, connectors and enterpriseintegration patterns.
  • Experience designing secure Pega solutions including authentication, authorization and rolebased/attribute-based access controls.
  • Strong knowledge of Pega performance optimisation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Pega DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and enterprisedeployment approaches.
  • Experience delivering solutions within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to lead multiple Pega development teams and provide architecture governance acrossworkstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership skills.
  • Ability to explain complex architecture decisions to senior business and technologystakeholders. CertificationMandatory: Certified Pega Lead (CPLSA/CLSA).Desirable

  • Experience with Pega Infinity '24/'25 or later.
