Oracle Data Integration Specialist

Oracle Data Integration Specialist (OIC) - £650 per day (umbrella rate)

Location: Remote UK
Onsite: London/Birmingham (as required by the client)

Atrium EMEA are supporting a large service provider, looking for a talented Oracle Data Integration Specialist to join a dynamic Synergy Integration workstream, supporting a large-scale transformation programme.
This role will focus on designing and delivering robust, scalable integrations across a complex Oracle ecosystem, working closely with ERP, HCM, Data, and Reporting teams to ensure seamless end-to-end solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

* Design, build, and configure integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), aligned to architecture and design standards
* Develop integrations including:
o APIs
o Orchestrations
o File-based interfaces
* Produce high-quality functional and technical specifications, ensuring traceability from business requirements through to solution delivery
* Implement error handling, logging, and performance optimisation within integration solutions
* Perform unit testing and support delivery across the integration life cycle
* Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases:
o Troubleshooting issues
o Resolving defects
o Managing fixes and enhancements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across:
o ERP
o HCM
o Data & Reporting
* Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions across the enterprise landscape

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
* Strong experience in:
o Integration design and development
o API-based and file-based integrations
o End-to-end integration life cycle delivery
* Experience producing clear functional and technical documentation
* Strong understanding of:
o Integration patterns and best practices
o Error handling, logging, and performance tuning
* Hands-on experience supporting SIT and UAT phases
* Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

* Experience working within large transformation programmes or Oracle Cloud implementations
* Exposure to ERP and HCM integrations
* Knowledge of additional Oracle tools (eg, ODI, SOA Suite)
* Understanding of data architecture and reporting integrations
