Are you a qualified Electrician with your 18th Edition, looking to take the next step into a more specialised, high-demand sector?

We’re hiring for a growing UK-based power solutions company with over 30 years’ experience in delivering critical power systems across a wide range of industries. As part of a nationwide expansion, they’re seeking a motivated Electrician to join their service team and train into a Field Service Engineer role specialising in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

An experienced Electrician (18th Edition essential, ECS card a strong advantage) who’s keen to transition into the critical power/UPS space, gain new qualifications, and build a career in a futureproof industry.

You’ll be fully supported through structured product training, mentoring, and ongoing development to build the technical skills required to install, maintain and repair UPS systems. Over time, you’ll work across the UK in customer-facing environments, performing a mix of preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and system commissioning.

• Learn and support the commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of UPS systems (AC/DC and battery-based)
• Attend customer sites to assist in diagnostics, testing and repairs
• Provide excellent service and communication to clients and internal teams
• Follow detailed technical documentation and safety procedures
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota (with generous allowance, once fully trained)
• Support installation and replacement of UPS units
• Accurately complete service reports and help identify system issues

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential)
• ECS Card (preferred but not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• Based in or around Oxford, Aylesbury, or High Wycombe
• Strong practical electrical background – domestic, commercial or industrial
• Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Willingness to travel nationwide and occasionally stay overnight
• Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn
• IT literate (basic MS Office, reporting tools)
