Test Analyst

Location: Chelmsford, Essex (Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite, remainder remote)

As a Test Analyst / Support, you’ll be working on cutting-edge technology platforms within the London Market Insurance sector. You’ll gain hands-on experience in software testing, system support, and technology delivery while developing a strong foundation for a successful IT career.

• Write and execute test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Perform manual and automated regression testing, reporting bugs and escalating major issues.
• Contribute to both migration and change projects.
• Support and maintain core technology platforms.
• Review and contribute to test documentation and test plans.
• Collaborate closely with the Service Team to:
• Answer user calls and queries.
• Raise and manage support tickets.
• Perform password resets and other routine support tasks.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to take their first step into a tech career.

You may be:

• A school leaver or recent graduate with a technology-related qualification (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering).
• Or someone with some experience in software testing or IT support who is keen to develop further.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles or IT support processes.
