Data Engineer (City of London)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across various data sources.
• Lead a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and best practices in data engineering.
• Partake in the on-call support rota.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably within financial services.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data tools like Spark.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
