As a Business Development Manager, you will be required to:

  • Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed company targets.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to execute go-to-market strategies and client success initiatives.
  • Deliver engaging and tailored presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity to identify new growth areas.
  • Lead and manage key client accounts, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling.
  • Design and maintain strategic account plans to support client growth.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and product demonstrations to ensure successful customer adoption.
  • Resolve client issues and inquiries efficiently, promoting positive client experiences.
  • Track and analyse customer data to enhance engagement and reduce churn.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions in the CRM system.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within the MSP or IT services sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Confident in preparing and delivering proposals and client presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of computer literacy; familiarity with CRM and customer success tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving customer success.
