About the Role

A combination of lead generation and sales will be required to achieve your targets whilst ensuring customers are delighted through engagement with the company. This role is predominantly desk based, interacting with customers to understand their requirements and providing a solution which fits their needs. The role will also include responding to general ‘quote to order’ enquiries which are inbound to the company. You will also be the conduit between the customer and Technical Support team to ensure that the customer’s requirements are fully understood and that the offering fits their needs. The role will also involve working with Product Managers to understand solution value and positioning across verticals.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation and sales to achieve targets.
• Engagement with customers to understand their requirements.
• Providing solutions that fit customer needs.
• Responding to inbound ‘quote to order’ enquiries.
• Acting as a conduit between customers and the Technical Support team.
• Collaborating with Product Managers to understand solution value and positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computing, engineering or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of proven experience in technical sales, inside sales role, or similar.

Required Skills

• Technical knowledge of industrial information and communication technology within the Automation and IT and OT markets is a bonus.
• Specific product training once in role.
• A passion for continuous development and self-learning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in technical sales or inside sales roles.

Pay range and compensation package

£34k + Bonus
