Junior Robotics Integrator/Developer

We are looking for a Junior Robotics Integrator/Developer with the following qualities:

General:

• Start-up experience/attitude preferred (high levels of initiative, used to working in small, dynamic teams)
• Degree level in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline
• 1-2 years employment, but would suit new graduate with commensurate industrial experience

Essentials:

• Software development experience in C++ and/or Python
• Experience with ROS/ROS2
• Experience of control systems engineering for robotics and/or aircraft, with a working knowledge of Matlab Simulink

Strongly recommended:

• Algorithmic development experience in machine vision, machine learning, AI, Guidance, Navigation and Control, or other robotics-relevant area
• Good software development practice
• Microcontroller firmware development experience (e.g., Arduino)

Beneficial:

• UK Driving license
• Drone flying experience
• IT infrastructure development and maintenance

The role is based in leafy Milton Keynes, an 8min Uber or 15min cycle from the station, with a 35min fast train to London Euston.

This role will involve developing robotic systems to address a range of challenging applications in industry and Defence and Security.
