Advisory Board Members

Autostock is building a technology-enabled automotive platform designed to improve how vehicle stock is funded, managed and distributed.

We are appointing five highly accomplished professionals to our Advisory Board. Each person will provide specialist advice and help shape Autostock’s strategy, governance and future direction.

The Five Advisory Positions

We are seeking one proven expert in each of the following areas:

Investment and Commercial Finance

An experienced investment or finance professional with a successful record in evaluating opportunities, structuring investments, managing financial risk and supporting business growth.

Fintech Law and FCA Regulation

A qualified lawyer or senior regulatory professional with proven experience in fintech, FCA authorisation, consumer credit, lending, financial promotions and regulatory compliance.

Fundraising and Capital Markets

An experienced fundraising, venture-capital, private-equity, corporate-finance or investment-banking professional who has successfully helped companies raise capital.

Automotive Industry

A senior automotive professional with proven experience across dealerships, vehicle auctions, stock sourcing, automotive finance, fleet operations, leasing, remarketing or automotive technology.

Artificial Intelligence and Technology

An accomplished AI, data or technology leader with experience developing and scaling successful technology products, intelligent platforms, digital marketplaces or automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Advisory Board Members will:

  • Provide independent strategic advice to Autostock’s directors
  • Help shape the company’s business model and long-term direction
  • Identify commercial opportunities, risks and potential partnerships
  • Support investment and fundraising readiness
  • Guide our FCA, legal and regulatory strategy
  • Advise on automotive operations and industry development
  • Support our AI, data, technology and product strategies
  • Make appropriate introductions to investors and strategic partners
  • Participate in scheduled Advisory Board meetings
  • Act as constructive and confidential strategic advisers

Compensation, Branding and Visibility

This is an unpaid strategic advisory appointment. No salary or financial compensation is attached to the position.

Autostock is committed to supporting the professional branding and visibility of its Advisory Board Members in the UK and internationally.

Commitment

The expected time commitment and meeting schedule will be discussed with shortlisted candidates before appointment.

Members must be willing to participate actively, provide meaningful advice and contribute their knowledge and professional experience.

Appointment Status

This is a non-executive strategic advisory appointment. It is not a statutory company directorship, employment relationship or authority to enter into commitments on behalf of Autostock.

Advisory Board Members will not conduct regulated activities, provide regulated investment advice, arrange investments or undertake reserved legal activities for Autostock unless separately qualified, authorised and formally engaged to do so.

Our Appointment Process

The appointment process will normally include:

  1. Review of the applicant’s CV or LinkedIn profile
  2. Initial conversation with the founder
  3. Assessment of the applicant’s experience, achievements and suitability
  4. References and appropriate background checks
  5. Final discussion covering expectations, confidentiality and potential conflicts of interest
  6. Formal appointment and signing of an Advisory Board agreement
