AI Engineer

Our client currently seeks a AI Engineer to join their dynamic team on an initial 6 month contract. This role is Hybrid (2 days a week on-site based in Stratford)

Your core responsibilities include:

• Analyse and interpret eval results, logs and traces from a live AI product

• Develop and maintain Python microservices, AWS Lambda functions, Python packages and REST

APIs interacting with AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, Kendra, DynamoDB, and other services.

• Build and maintain Lambda functions, Step Functions, and LLM agents to orchestrate workflows.

• Work with DevOps engineers on day-to-day development, deployment, and operational support.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub Actions.

• Manage artifacts, enforce branch strategies, and utilize Maven and Nexus for release-to-live (RTL)

development, including versioning, dependencies, and packaging standards.

• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for backend services.
