DDI Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced DDI SME with deep expertise in enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments. This role requires strong hands-on experience with VitalQIP (Cygna QIP), Cygna AMS/AMM, and F5 GTM (BIG-IP DNS), including building and managing GTM clusters in large-scale environments.

This is a senior-level, strategic and operational role supporting mission-critical global DDI services.

What You’ll Do

  • Define, deliver, and support strategic DDI services aligned to business goals
  • Act as SME for enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM platforms
  • Lead DDI-related projects end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery
  • Manage and maintain enterprise-scale DNS and DHCP environments
  • Ensure high availability and minimise disruption to customers
  • Perform risk assessment, change planning, and post-change validation
  • Drive service improvements and lifecycle optimisation
  • Design, build, and manage F5 GTM clusters
  • Configure and support Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
  • Integrate GTM with enterprise DNS infrastructure
  • Global Collaboration & AgileWork within a global team environment
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
  • Support operational deliverables across regions

Required Experience (Must Have)

  • Deep enterprise experience managing DNS and DHCP environments

Strong hands-on expertise with:

  • VitalQIP (Must Have)
  • Cygna AMS/AMM (Must Have)
  • F5 GTM (Must Have – including GTM cluster build)
  • Experience managing Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)

Deep networking knowledge:

  • IP addressing & subnetting
  • Routing
  • DNS
  • DHCP

Additional / Desirable Experience

Experience with:

  • Infoblox
  • EfficientIP
  • Linux administration
  • SQL knowledge
  • Automation exposure (Ansible, Jenkins, Git/GitHub)
  • Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell, SQL, YAML, JavaScript)
  • Strong service management & stakeholder engagement capability
  • Experience supporting large, mission-critical, global platforms
