Product Controls Engineer – EMEA – Data Centres

This customer is a global provider of data centre services, specialising in the development and operation of high performance, scalable, and secure data centre facilities. They serve a diverse range of clients, including cloud service providers, telecommunications companies, and enterprise customers.

Role Purpose: Maintain, update, and verify control packages across facilities, including PLC code, SCADA/HMI graphics, alarms, historian configurations, sFAT/SAT documentation. Provide technical guidance, review submissions, and support standardization across multiple sites.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain and release control packages with updated documentation
• Ensure standards are adhered to across all facilities
• Review network/architecture submittals and PLC/SCADA applications
• Provide project management support for control teams
• Travel to facilities for commissioning and verification as needed

Technical Requirements:

• 5+ years in controls engineering and automation systems
• Experience with Rockwell PLCs, Ignition, FactoryTalk (preferred)
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and technical liaison skills
