Region Practice Lead - Data & AI (UK)

About the Role

We are seeking a Region Practice Lead – Data & AI to drive profitable growth, market leadership, and team excellence across the UK. This is a senior leadership role with end‐to‐end accountability for sales performance, client impact, and team leadership. You will position the practice as a trusted advisor in Data, AI, and digital transformation, while scaling a high‐performing, future‐ready organisation. The role combines commercial ownership, executive client engagement, and leadership of a large multidisciplinary team, aligned with global strategy and focused on delivering sustained regional growth.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Market Growth (Primary Focus)
  • Own regional sales performance, including pipeline growth, revenue, and overall practice contribution
  • Lead strategic deal shaping and act as executive sponsor on priority pursuits
  • Build and strengthen C‐level client relationships, positioning the practice as a trusted strategic partner
  • Translate global strategy into clear regional go‐to‐market priorities
Team Leadership & Capability Growth (Primary Focus)
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a large Data & AI team across architecture, delivery, and capability areas
  • Define and execute a regional talent strategy (hiring, upskilling, workforce planning)
  • Drive engagement, retention, and performance, fostering an inclusive and high‐performing culture
Solutioning, Delivery & Technical Leadership
  • Ensure high‐quality, competitive solutions across all engagements
  • Oversee delivery of large‐scale programmes, ensuring client satisfaction and delivery excellence
  • Provide thought leadership across Data & AI domains
  • Support complex pursuits with strong solution integrity and commercial alignment
Strategic Partnerships & Innovation
  • Strengthen partnerships with Microsoft, Databricks, Accenture, and key ecosystem players
  • Identify and incubate new offerings and capabilities aligned to market trends
  • Contribute regional insights to the global innovation and strategy agenda
Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading large consulting teams and growing regional practices
  • Strong track record in sales leadership, deal shaping, and client growth
  • Deep expertise in Data, AI, and cloud platforms, with the ability to guide solutioning
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience operating within a global matrix organisation, aligning local execution to global strategy
