About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Helpdesk Team Leader to join a global technology company operating at the forefront of data centre solutions and digital technology. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who thrives in a technical support environment, managing both people and processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

As the Helpdesk Team Leader, you will oversee a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality support across the data centre environment, while maintaining a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

This role requires 5 days a week on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of Helpdesk Engineers.
• Ensure effective monitoring and resolution of issues using tools such as Jira, Zabbix, or similar.
• Promote a proactive helpdesk culture – engaging directly with internal teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Balance technical problem-solving with people leadership, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong background in Linux systems (essential).
• Basic Linux scripting knowledge.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Jira, Zabbix, Limbox, or equivalents).
• Demonstrated experience in helpdesk support (2nd and 3rd line).
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience in an IT support setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – approachable, proactive, and team-focused.
