Senior AWS DevOps Engineer - Fully Remote - Eligible for SC Clearance

I’m working with a successful software house who make InfoSec products and are looking to recruit a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team.  They have been established nearly 20 years and their InfoSec products that are used by over 500 customers globally.

Working in a DevOps team of 3x Engineers you will play a key role on the underlying infrastructure for their Flagship SaaS based software products.  They have been working with AWS and Kubernetes for a few years but there is still a lot to be done to improve the Scalability, Security and automating processes. 

This is a fully remote role from anywhere in the UK with no requirement to go to the office however you will need to eligible for SC level Security Clearance so is only open to UK Citizens or those who have been in the UK for more than 5 years.  

To considered you will have worked in a Senior DevOps role where you bring ideas, can make technical decisions and technically lead Junior Engineers.  You must have strong skills with AWS and Kubernetes with good Cloud Security knowledge.

Experience with many of the following will be required:

• AWS 
• Terraform
• CI/CD pipelines – any considered 
• Kubernetes – proven production experience, autoscaling, overprovisioning etc. 
• Serverless - Lambda
• Scripting for automation
• Good knowledge of Cloud Security – Security hub, guard rails, RBAC, IAM, vulnerability management, Patch Management.
• A Security first mentality to ensure Security is built into all elements of their platforms. 
• Linux Server Administration – Command Line 
• Packer
• Git, Elasticache, Elasticsearch
• Networking protocols, Routing

Salary:   £70,000 - £80,000 + benefits

Duration: Permanent
