Contract SDET / Outside IR35

We’re working with a technology company who are scaling their engineering function and looking for an experienced SDET to join on a contract basis. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining automation frameworks, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality releases across web applications and APIs.

You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering culture with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and best practices in software delivery.

Tech stack includes:

• Playwright with TypeScript
• API testing (REST)
• Contract testing (Pact)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab)
• Cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
• Test automation frameworks from scratch

This role is hybrid in London and sits outside IR35.
