Development Manager

Development Manager - £75k to £85k – Reading

Avanti Recruitment is currently partnering with a rapidly growing SaaS company based in Reading. We are looking to hire an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team of 6+ engineers. As part of a growing and newly formed team of engineers, DevOps, QA and customer support it would be really valuable to be onsite every day so preference will be given to candidates who want to come in every day.

Responsibilities;

Looking after DevOps, QA and platform support teams

Managing the team day to day

Build relationships with key stakeholders

Ideal skills required;

Experience or managing Software Development and QA teams

Experience of managing teams responsible for hardware and Linux based systems

Strong AWS experience – management and deployment

Experience working in a SaaS environment, ideally CRM

Full Software Development Lifecycle experience

DevOps skills with Linux, Apache and MySQL

Agile project methodologies

The role can pay up to c85k basic plus a bonus of c5k. Max package will be 90k. There is parking onsite. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a standard pension of 3% from the company.
